As a small city in the Midwest, Columbus is ranked 6th in the nation for architecture innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects. Every year thousands of visitors tour the city for its renowned architecture, designed by award-winning world-class architects including Eero Saarinen, Kevin Roche, Harry Weese, I.M. Pei, etc.
This map uses a special diagonal folding grid to allow the map to open and collapse simultaneously. Graphic elements including typographies and images work together with the diagonal grid to create a cohesive piece of information design.
